Interesting set of examples because they all point to the same shift from extraction to control over chokepoints and infrastructure.

Turkey is trying to monetize passage rather than geography. Nigeria is moving up the value chain from crude to refining and capital markets. Congo is shortening the path from discovery to production by plugging into existing systems.

Taken together, it looks less like new “titans” emerging and more like different ways of capturing margin in a tighter energy and logistics system. The leverage is moving from ownership of resources to how efficiently they are processed, routed, and priced.
